Kat stays true to her soulful funk rock roots with 4 songs, 2 of her own. "Not That Guy" driving dance track, "Are You (the Healer)" rockin' social commentary, Turtle's cover from the 60s sexy slow jam "You Showed Me", and a thoughtful nod to the love generation with Donovan's Hurdy Gurdy Man" that starts out pretty and and wraps up in a gospe-tinged finale. Kat, once again, sings in a way only she can with her soulful, distinctive phrasing. Her sax playing, inspired by Maceo Parker accentuates each song's emotion.
